Youngest person to climb all mountains over 8,000 m (26,246 ft) is Mingma Gyabu "David" Sherpa (Nepal, b. 16 May 1989), who summitted all 14 mountains by the age of 30 years 166 days. His first ascent was Everest on 23 May 2010 and his last was Shisha Pangma on 29 October 2019.


The project took Mingma Gyabu 9 years 159 days. He also broke the record for the fastest time to climb Everest and K2, conquering both mountains in just 61 days 55 minutes, with the use of supplementary oxygen.
