The fastest time to climb all 14 of the world's mountains over 8,000 m (26,246 ft) is 92 days by Tenjen Lama Sherpa (Nepal), who began the challenge by summiting Shisha Pangma on 26 April 2023 and finishing on K2 on 27 July 2023.

Tenjen climbed to the true summits of all 14 mountains with Kristin Harila (Norway). Tragically, he went missing during an avalanche while attempting to climb Shisha Pangma in October 2023.
