The attempt is part of a marketing event to promote the elctric car and increase ZEEKR's brand awareness in China. ZEEKR 001 is the first electric car produced by ZEEKR, which is an electric car producer owned by Geely Group. Therefore, the attempts were done by an engineer from the company. And according to the organizor, the challenger practiced quite a time.The attemtp was done in CATARC automotive proving ground, and before the attempt, the third-party professional measuring company did the measurment for the racing track.
