Minecraft has the luxury of being the world's best-selling videogame with over 21 million copies sold as of April 2021.

And that means there are plenty of opportunities for fans of it to become record holders.

Within our archive are Minecraft-related titles like the oldest Minecraft server and the smallest mob in Minecraft.

But now, we're setting our very own challenge for you to try at home.

Game The Record is a series that challenges you to set records by playing a wide range of trendy videogames.

Luke Wakeham, our gaming guru at GWR Headquarters, created this record title in the hopes that one of you could break it, and he's even shown you exactly how to do it.

The title in question is: Most sunflowers picked in one minute in the 'Sunflower Field' in Minecraft with a controller.

Players will have to spawn into the correct world, and fill up their task bar with as many sunflowers as they can within the one minute time limit.

In the video above, Guinness World Records employee Aisheshek gave this record a go and proved just how tricky it can be!

Luke managed to collect 32 sunflowers, whereas Aisheshek was more into collecting seeds (which don't count as sunflowers).

There are also alternative versions of this record title, including using touch controls rather than a controller for mobile gamers.

Gamers can apply for this record through the Guinness World Records website, or by clicking here.

There's also an under-16s version of this record made especially for kids!
