The fastest 100 km pushing a wheelchair (male) is 9 hr 50 min 35 sec and was achieved by Simon Clavreuil and Amélie Folny (both France), in Crevin, France, on 5 April 2025.

Simon pushed Amélie, who has cerebral palsy in order to achieve this record. Both Simon and Amélie had to undergo rigorous training ahead of the 100 km (62.137 miles) challenge. They worked together in the years before this event completing half marathons, marathons and even a triathlon! The months leading up to the event saw further planning and logistical considerations on how to complete the run (Amélie's father supported them with food and water on a bicycle alongside them). Having completed this run in a record-breaking time the duo now have ther sights set on completing and Ironman challenge!
