The largest environmental sustainability lesson consists of 4,780 participants, and was achieved by Ministry of New and Renewable Energy and SoULS IIT Mumbai (both India) at Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium, in Delhi, India, on 2 October 2019.
The record attempt was done to pay homage to Mahatma Gandhi on the occasion of his 150th birth anniversary. Participants also took a pledge of non-violence towards the environment.
