Total 22.8 kg (50 lb 4.32 oz) of local vegetable Fukaya leeks (green onion) were skewered in to a 70 m (229 ft 7.9 in) long metal wire. 153 people who gathered for a local cherry blossom festival, Fukaya Sakura Matsuri, were involved with this record attempt.
