The longest time to spin a frying pan on one finger is 2 hr 22 min 22 sec, and was achieved by Mansingh Oli Prabhas (Nepal) in Kathmandu, Bagmati, Nepal, on 25 March 2022.
Mansingh specialises in spinning records and has previously achieved a number of similar titles including the longest time spinning a Guinness World Records book on one finger and the most spins of a Guinness World Records book on the finger in one minute.
He has been spinning objects since he was a child which is why he wanted to attempt this record. He practises a lot for his attempts by keeping up a healthy lifestyle, taking part in morning runs, finger push-ups and eating healthy.
Mansingh used meditation to be able to push through this physically and mentally challenging record attempt. Unfortunately he fractured his finger while practising for a previous attempt, so he had to wait until he fully recovered from his treatment before he could start practising again. This took about three months but Mansingh believes it was all worth it to officially be a Guinness World Records title holder.
