The longest marathon playing snooker underwater (relay) was 24 hr 00 min organized by Christian Farnbauer (Germany) in Betzenstein, Germany, on 24-25 June 2011. Other team members included Joachim Lorenz, Andreas Belz, Markus Wolf, Armin Maierhofer, Claudia Piesche, Joerg Lucinski, Marko Goetz, Markus Stiegler, Ulrike Winkler, and Markus Roppelt (all Germany). Two participants had to be playing at all times, and the groups of two rotated once every hour.
