The heaviest weight lifted by a beard is 64.40 kg (141 lb 15.6 oz) and was achieved by Dmytro Hrunskyi (Ukraine) in Dnipro, Dnipropetrovsk, Ukraine, on 8 November 2025.
Dmytro surpassed the previous record of 63.80 kg in 2013 by just 0.60 kg! For this attempt, the participant must lift the weight at least 10 cm off the ground for at least 5 seconds, amazingly enough he held it for almost 7 seconds. As part of the challenge, the weight and beard cannot be supported by the hands or arms. Absolutely, no part of the body may touch the chain or weight during the lift.
Dmytro is very passionate about attempts like these and hopes to achieve even more Guinness World Records titles in the future.
