Rob and Joanne Gambi (UK) achieved the fastest (and first) Seven-Summits ascent by a married couple, climbing the highest peak on each continent in 404 days for the Kosciuszko list (which assumes Mt Kosciuszko as the highest point in Australasia) between 12 June 2003 and 20 July 2004. On 19 August 2005, the couple climbed the Carstensz Pyramid (aka Puncak Jaya, the continent's highest point if Indonesia is included) in 799 days. Jo also set a record as the fastest woman to climb the Seven Summits in the process.
