The Man of Tomorrow might have some serious superhero name recognition but his videogame outings have seldom found favour with game reviewers. The lowest-rated superhero videogame of all time is Titus Software's 1999 action-adventure Superman: The New Superman Adventures (1999) for the Nintendo 64 with a rating of just 22.9% on GameRankings.com across its 15 reviews. The game features the Man of Steel flying through rings in a city shrouded in green kryptonite mist. It has developed something of a cult following for its perceived shortcomings and was voted "Worst Comic Book Game of All Time" by GameSpy and the "Worst Game Ever" by GameTrailers.com. Apparent licence constraints, such as a request not to have Superman fighting real people, contributed to its plight.
