The most famous female character in video game is Lara Croft. As well as two blockbuster movies, she has appeared in TV advertisements for Lucozade and SEAT cars, on the front cover of style magazine The Face and on stage with rock band U2. She even had her own album that was test-marketed in France and was quickly buried.
