The largest living marsupial carnivore is the Tasmanian devil (Sarcophilus harrisii), which now naturally occurs only in Tasmania, Australia. The larger adult males typically measure 30 cm (12 in) to the shoulder, 78 cm (30 in) long and weigh 12 kg (26 lb). Using their extremely powerful jaws and long teeth, they feed on smaller mammals (e.g wallabies), birds, reptiles and insects, eating everything - even the bones and fur.
