Emmanuel Gentinetta (USA / Argentina), was 18 years 266 days old when he completed his solo cycle journey of the 'Pan-American highway' from Prudhoe Bay, Alaska, to Bahia Lapataia, Tierra del Fuego, Argentina from 23 June 1999 to 9 March 2000. The trip, which took 261 days, covered an estimated 24,516 km (15,234 miles).
This journey links the northern- and southernmost extremes of the Americas.
