Little Amal is 3.5 m (11.5 ft) tall and is constructed from a moulded cane body and carbon fibre head, arms and legs. The puppet is operated by three people.
Amal - meaning "hope" in Arabic - travelled from the Turkish-Syrian border through 65 European cities, to shine a light on the refugee crisis.
