Highest seated box jump

The highest seated box jump is 1.689 m (5 ft 6.5 in), and was achieved by Brian Williams (USA) in Fayetteville, North Carolina, USA, on 22 September 2025.

For this attempt, the participant must jump from a seated position onto to a high surface/platform- without a run-up before jumping. Brian trained diligently for this attempt, in hopes to show that with great determination, great things are possible. The attempt was conducted in a pubic gym, where witnesses and friends cheered him on. In this attempt, Brian started from a seated position facing the platform, with both feet flat, no run-op, then landed on both feet, and stood fully upright without using his hands for support!
