The highest score in a rugby union match was secured on 17 November 1973 when Denmark’s now-defunct Comet beat Lindo by 194-0.
Lindo, founded in 1960, is probably best known for the defeat to this day.
The closest anyone has come to such a huge victory – or devastating defeat – in the years since is a game between Blackburn and Kirkby Lonsdale (both UK) in 2023.
The game made British rugby history thanks to Blackburn’s 190-0 victory.
