According to the World Speed Sailing Record Council, the fastest solo and non-stop circumnavigation of Australia in a monohull sailing vessel was completed in 58 days 2 hours 25 min by Lisa Blair (AUS). Lisa set out from d'Albora Marinas Rushcutters Bay in Sydney Harbour on 20 October 2018 and ended her voyage in the same place on 17 December 2018.

Lisa Blair's route took her anti-clockwise around the entirety of Australia, including the island of Tasmania. She covered a total of 6,536 nautical miles (12,104 km) at an average speed of 4.69 knots (8.68 km/h; 5.39 mph) in her yacht Climate Action Now!

This is Blair's second record-setting voyage, following up on her 2017 solo circumnavigation of Antarctica. She undertakes her journeys to raise funds and awareness for environmental causes, particularly her own "Climate Action Now" project, which focuses on individual actions that can bring about positive change.

Over the course of her seven-week voyage, Blair had to pass through fierce storms with 5-m (16-foot) waves, stay alert without ever sleeping for more than 20 minutes at a time and navigate busy commercial shipping routes. She was joined on her voyage by numerous seabirds, which frequently settled on her deck, and – as occurred on her Antarctic voyage – a single albatross.
