The largest gathering of organ transplant donors is 965 people, and was achieved by Matnat Chaim (Israel), at the ICC Jerusalem, in Jerusalem, Israel, on 25 January 2026

Matnat Chaim is a non-profit organisation which recruits and mentors healthy volunteers who donate kidneys to patients who are in need of transplants.

This event was originally planned for early 2020 but had to be canceled then due to the pandemic. The organisation spread the word through volunteer groups and invited anyone who had voluntarily donated an organ during their lifetime to attend the record attempt event. Donors shared medical documentation of their donations and copies of official ID cards for verification
