The largest food truck rally numbers 158 vehicles and was achieved by Penang International Food Festival 2018 (Malaysia) held in Batu Kawan, Penang, Malaysia, on 28 April 2018.
The trucks sold a wide range of foods from local Malaysian dishes such as Nasi Dagang and Kukus Berempah to other foods from around the world such as pizza, burgers, takoyaki, dim sum, bao and roti.
The Penang International Food Festival is a 16-day culinary event celebrating all sorts of food from around the globe.
Penang State Government aimed to gather all the food trucks in and around Malaysia to their Food Truck Invasion in an attempt to achieve the Guinness World Records title.
The previous record was 123 which they beat with a total of 158 food trucks.
