On 13 August 2015 in Beijing, China, at the Beijing Exhibition Theatre, Video Games Live performed to a total of 752,109 people, 750,023 of whom were watching a live stream via the Chinese version of YouTube, known as Youku. There were 2,086 people at the concert itself. The record beat Video Games Live’s own record of 320,000 people who had watched their Amazon/Twitch sponsored event at the San Diego Comic Con in 2013.
