First person to complete Super Mario World blindfolded

On 23 June 2015, "PangaeaPanga" completed Super Mario World in 23 minutes 14 seconds while blindfolded – a feat that he aired on Twitch. "PangaeaPanga", who describes himself as a Super Mario World hacker and a speed-runner, said he began learning blindfolded strategies on 16 June 2015 and attempting full runs on 20 June 2015. "This run features 3 deaths, getting lost briefly in Starworld, baby Yoshi eating the goal tape, and entertaining spectators to keep the hype up for when I was too concentrated on the run," he wrote on his YouTube page. The record was achieved on an emulator version and he used keyboard controls.
