Longest ears for a bat (proportionate to body)

The bat species with the proportionately longest ears is the spotted bat Euderma maculatum, native to southwestern Canada, the western USA and northern Mexico. Its translucent pink ears each measure up to 5 cm long, whereas its entire head-and-body length is only 6–7.7 cm long.
