The largest underwater viewing dome has an external diameter of 12 m (39 ft 4.44 in) and is placed over a cylindrical structure built inside the Whale Shark Exhibit tank at Hengqin Ocean Kingdom. The facility is part of the Ocean Kingdom, owned by Zhuhai Chimelong Investment and Development Co., Ltd (China). It is located in Hengqin, Guangdong, China, and was officially inaugurated on 28 January 2014.
