Craps is a game played with two dice. On 23 May 2009 Patricia Demauro of New Jersey, USA, was playing craps at the Borgata Hotel Casino in Atlantic City, New Jersey, USA, and threw the dice a record 154 times before a 7 finally terminated her lucky streak – a craps roll lasting a total 4 hours 18 minutes. The odds of this happening are 1,560,000,000,000 to 1 – less likely than being struck by lightning. Neither she nor the casino divulged how much she won.
