The fastest time to complete half a marathon on each continent (male) is 6 days 7 hr 4 min, and was achieved by Byron Gerard Ball aka "Fire Ball" (USA) from 30 January to 5 February 2018.

Byron is an active-duty First Sergeant in the US Air Force. He wanted to become the first in his family to achieve a Guinness World Records title and did it by completing the World Marathon Challenge in record time.

The 2018 World Marathon Challenge started in Antarctica and ended in Miami over six days later.

Byron completed seven half marathons - one on each continent - with a total running time of 19 hr 47 min 49 sec.
