The smallest ever digital camera (as measured by the size of its largest physical dimension) was released by novelty retailer Hammacher Schlemmer in November 2011. It measures 1.125 inches by 1.063 inches by 1 inch (2.858 cm x 2.7 cm x 2.54 cm). Despite its size the camera is able to capture 1.9-megapixel (1600x1200) images and video, which it stores on a 2GB SD card. There’s also a USB connection, for data transfer – and charging, extremely important given the battery life is just 30 minutes. The camera sells for $99.95. Just make sure you don’t lose it.
