This August at SubaFest - the huge Subaru car festival held in Russia - fans of the car brand broke the record for the Largest parade of Subaru cars, with 549 vehicles taking part.
Hundreds of car owners took to the Moscow Raceway autodrome to participate in the huge procession which lasted 2.5 hours.
They surpassed the previous record of 371 cars which was achieved by Subaru of America in 2013.
A total of 622 cars were counted onto the track, with the participants driving at a speed of 5-7 km/h during the display – though unfortunately some vehicles were discounted because they fell away from the group.
In spite of this, Glen Pollard, the official Guinness World Records adjudicator in attendance, was thrilled to announce that the record had been achieved, and said, “You proved that together you can achieve very much. So today, I declare that you are Officially Amazing.”
The event was attended by Subaru fans, car owners, employees, and their friends and family, and everyone was able to get involved in the giant parade which made the festival an incredible record-breaking occasion.
Speaking of their success, Mr Yoshiki Kishimoto, General Director of Subaro Motor LLC, said, “Today, once again, all of us together proved that we are one big and united team and that we are proud of the Subaru brand and love it.”
