Chinese TV host Xie Na has marked her return to the show she's most famous for after giving birth to twins with two Guinness World Records titles.
Appearing on the variety show Happy Camp for the first time since become a mother, the 37-year-old received certificates for the First person to accumulate 100 million followers on Weibo™ and Most followers on Weibo™ with a total of 100,396,561 as of 9 April 2018.
It's the third Guinness World Records title Xie has achieved with the help of her huge fan base.
“Thanks for the support from my beloved friends and fans, I will continue to spread happiness to everyone," she said when awarded her 100 million followers title.
"Xie Na’s fans have been growing at a staggering rate; nearly 10 million fans in less than a year to break through the 100 million, which proves her strong social influence," added Guinness World Records Global Records Management Senior Vice President and Greater China General Manager Marco Frigatti.
“Xie Na is therefore the same as Katy Perry and Justin Bieber among the social media platform 100 million fan club.”
Katy Perry has the Most followers on Twitter with 109,330,720 (as of 23 April 2018) while Justin Bieber has the Most followers on Twitter (male) with 106,280,929.
Xie Na created her Weibo account in September 2009 and attracted the Most followers on Weibo™ (female) in July 2017.
Over the past nine years, Xie Na has published more than 9,300 posts and more than 5,500 pictures on the platform.
Since 2016 she has been on Weibo's hot search list for 190 times with the cumulative searching exceeding 520 million.
Xie Na isn't the only celebrity to have a Weibo™-related record though. Others include:
