The team wanted to attempt this record to inspire other groups of women to work together and lift each other up and set big goals together.

They really wanted to do something for Leona's husband Matt who unfortunately passed in June 2021. Matt was a very athletic man and a loving father of 4 beautiful children. He was part of their fitness studio and had lived his life to the fullest. He never wasted a minute and neither did the women during their 12 hour burpee attempt.
