The heaviest vehicle pulled over 100 m (328 ft) by a team was a train weighing 646,350 kg (1,424,958 lbs) by a team organised by Michael Bühler (Switzerland) on 24 October 2009 in Widnau, St. Gallen, Switzerland. The train consisted of eight cars filled with gravel and weighed individually by SBB Cargo of St. Margrethen (sbbcargo.com). The team consisted of 100 members from 42 countries gathered together in an event to promote global peace and diversity. Witnesses included notary public Karin Bürki Sonderegger and town councilman Daniel Bühler. It took the group 1 min 39 sec to pull the vehicle 135 m, surpassing the required 100 m for the record.
