Ever wondered how brands can create record-breaking campaigns that generate recognition across the globe?

On Tuesday 24 April, Guinness World Records' Head of PR EMEA APAC, Doug Male, held a panel discussion to demonstrate how record breaking can create award-winning campaigns that generate newsworthy, engaging and shareable content.

Joining the discussion were two of our existing clients; Harman Industries, a Samsung company and global leader in consumer electronics, and ER Productions, award-winning laser show specialists.

Harman achieved the record for Most Bluetooth speakers playing from a single source to launch the brand’s latest product range, the JBL Flip 4.

At an event in London, UK, the company unveiled not one loudspeaker, but covered a room with 1,000 Flip 4 devices, all playing seamlessly from one mobile phone to create an incredible experience. The event generated wide spread reach across the media, through influencers and on social media.

ER Productions, who with their creative agency Tiga, broke the record for the Largest laser show to celebrate the company’s 10th anniversary through a memorable event that showcased their achievements within the industry.

The show stopping event took place at the Las Vegas Convention Centre and amplified ER production’s presence at the show as well as generating wide spread media coverage across multiple channels.

The session was attended by industry professionals from across the tech sector and discussed trends from within the industry, as well providing the opportunity to learn more about the benefits of record-breaking integrated campaigns.
