The Brief
UCHealth and the Denver Broncos wanted a fun and unique activity to raise awareness for men’s health and encourage screenings during November. With the focus to create significant impact during a short time, UCHealth turned to Guinness World Records.

The Solution
To capture nationwide attention, UCHealth organized a Guinness World Records attempt with its partner the Denver Broncos to take place during a live Sunday Night Football game against the New England Patriots.
In collaboration with the Denver Broncos, UCHealth distributed false mustaches to fans at the game to symbolize men’s health awareness. Over 6,000 fans donned an orange mustache to help UCHealth culminate its month-long initiative to bring attention to men’s health by breaking the record for the Largest gathering of people wearing false mustaches.
Setting this new record was a lot of fun, but it also has a very important message. Check-ups with a primary care doctor and health screenings can improve men’s health and even save lives by catching diseases in early stages. This is one of many ways UCHealth is focused on improving lives in the communities we serve.
