American YouTube star and professional competitive eater Kevin "LA Beast" Strahle has been on a record-breaking frenzy over the past two weeks, achieving four Guinness World Records titles during Facebook Live broadcasts from our New York HQ.

His most recent feats include the Most powdered doughnuts eaten in three minutes.

With a tough record of six to beat, L.A. Beast devoured a total of nine sugared doughnuts.

The rules for this challenge state that the attempter must not lick their lips at any point during the attempt and that no drinking is allowed.

Instead, to wash down the doughnuts, the Beast decided to challenge the record for Fastest time to drink a bottle of maple syrup.

Kevin – who has over 1.7 million subscribers on his YouTube channel – practiced for the attempt by downing protein shakes and working out the best angle to tilt the bottle.

His training paid off as he smashed the record of 26 seconds with a new time of 10.84 seconds.

“It went down pretty smoothly and tasted good,” he said after the attempt.

Official Guinness World Records adjudicator Sarah Casson was on hand to make sure all of the rules were followed and presented the YouTuber with certificates for his achievements.

Earlier this month, the 33-year-old achieved records for the Most chicken nuggets eaten in three minutes and the Most Bhut jolokia peppers eaten in two minutes.

What’s next for the L.A. Beast? The competitive eater has his eye on a more technical challenge: Most M&Ms eaten in one minute using chopsticks. Stay tuned!
