The largest display of origami aeroplanes consists of 17,507 origami aeroplanes and was achieved by AEON MALL Narita (Japan) in Narita, Chiba, Japan, on 11 May 2019.
The attempt was done to celebrate the renewal of Aeon Mall in Narita. They have been collecting the origami aeroplanes from a month ago at the mall, local schools and facilities in the neighborhood which the staff then assorted and stapled the good ones on to the streamers.
