Meadowhall Shopping Centre - Sheffield - England
 
The first stop for the Guinness World Records Live! team was the 25th anniversary celebrations for Meadowhall Shopping Centre, in Sheffield, England - the fourth largest retail centre in the UK with 25 million visitors each year. 
 
The activity was really popular with hundreds of Meadowhall visitors stopping to watch the official attempts and with one dedicated visitor managing to break the Guinness World Records title for the Most hand claps back to front!

The event was a huge success for Meadowhall, enabling them to engage with their loyal shopper audience, boost footfall and provide a truly unforgettable record-breaking experience.

Kuntsevo Plaza, Moscow - Russia

The next stop for the Guinness World Records Live! team was the official opening celebrations of Moscow’s Kuntsevo Plaza (3-4 October), which also featured guest appearances from iconic Guinness World Records title holders Sultan Kosen, the tallest man in the world, Jyoti Amge, the shortest woman in the world, and John Farnworth football freestyler.

Visitors to the opening weekend had the opportunity to take part in seven Guinness World Records title attempts and five records were broken over the two days. In addition to the seven record breaking pods, Kuntsevo Plaza also attempted the Guinness World Records title for Most contributions to a handprint painting in 24 hours. Thousands of Muscovites queued up to make their mark on the painting,and take part in the attempts.

Nowy Rynek, Jelenia Gora - Poland

The final stop for the GWR Live! team so far this month was the official opening of Nowy Rynek (14-15 October), a brand new shopping centre in Jelenia Góra, Poland, featuring more than 100 shops, restaurants and cafes and a children's fun park.

What's next for Guinness World Records Live!?

The Guinness World Records Live! roadshow isn’t slowing down yet. The next live event for the team will be at the LEGO fan event BRICK 2015 (10-13 December), at ExCeL London, where visitors will also have the chance to practice, attempt and set Guinness World Records titles.
