Meadowhall Shopping Centre in Sheffield will be challenging their visitors to break Guinness World Records titles this weekend as part of it’s 25th anniversary celebrations.

Visitors to Meadowhall will have the once in a lifetime opportunity to go home a Guinness World Records title holder, by taking part in one of three live challenges.

Guinness World Records coaches will be available to lend expert advice and encouragement to visitors who can try breaking records at pods.

Those that perform the best will be invited back each hour for an official adjudication where they will have the opportunity to walk away as official Guinness World Records title holders.

Life size cut-outs will also be available, giving visitors the chance to step into the shoes of iconic record breakers.

Paul O’Neill, Guinness World Records Vice President of Creative, said: “Visitors to Meadowhall this weekend will be able to join in the anniversary celebrations and have the opportunity to become legendary by breaking a record. Our live events offer activities for the whole family to enjoy. We can’t wait to see who will become a Guinness World Records title holder.”
