The youngest alpine skiier to win an Olympic gold is Kjetil Andre Aamodt (Norway, b. 2 September 1971), who won the first of his four career Olympic golds in Albertville, France, on 16 February 1992, aged 20 years 167 days. He won it in the super giant slalom event.
