The youngest male to win a professional golf tournament is Phachara Khongwatmai (Thailand, b. 3 May 1999), who was aged 14 years 79 days when he won the 2013 Sing Hua Hin Open in Thailand on 21 July 2013.
Khongwatmai was given the week off school to play in the ASEAN PGA Tour event at the Royal Hua Hin Golf Club. He won by four strokes, with a 13-under-par total score.
