Billie Eilish (USA, b. Billie Eilish Pirate Baird O’Connell, 18 December 2001) was 17 years 114 days old when her second studio album, WHEN WE ALL FALL ASLEEP, WHERE DO WE GO?, landed at No.1 on the UK’s Official Albums Chart on 11 April 2019.

Eilish took the crown from Joss Stone (UK, b. Joscelyn Stoker, 11 April 1987), who was aged 17 years 181 days when her second album, Mind, Body & Soul, debuted at No.1 on 9 October 2004.

Eilish would go on to become the UK’s youngest two- and three-time female chart-topper too, with Happier than Ever on 12 August 2021 (when she was 19 years 237 days old) and Hit Me Hard and Soft on 30 May 2024 (22 years 164 days).

Avril Lavigne (Let Go, 2002), Diana Vickers (Songs from the Tainted Cherry Tree, 2010), Ella Henderson (Chapter One, 2014) and Olivia Rodrigo (SOUR, 2021) all scored UK No.1 albums before turning 19.

Lavigne (b. 27 September 1984) narrowly lost her two- and three-time female chart-topper records to Eilish after Under My Skin (2004) and The Best Damn Thing (2007) had hit the UK's top spot when she was 19 years 252 days and 22 years 213 days old, respectively.
