At the 2025 UltraPark Weekend 48 Hour race in Pabianice, Belgian ultrarunner Matthieu Bonne took down the long-standing record of Yiannis Kouros, who completed 473.495 kilometres in 48 hours in May 1996. Bonne had beaten Kouros’s six-day record in 2024.
