The pyramid of Khufu at Giza, Egypt, is the world's tallest. Also known as the Great Pyramid, it was 146.7 m (481 ft 3 in) high when completed around 4,500 years ago, but erosion and vandalism have reduced its height to 137.5 m (451 ft 1 in) high today.

Khufu is also known as Cheops in Greek.
