Completed in 2010, the Damaoshan electricity pylon carries power cables from China's Mount Damaoshan, Zhejiang Province, to the Zhoushan Islands. Comprising a tower that measures 370 m (1,213 ft) high and weighs 5,999 tonnes, the lattice tower carries a capacity of 600,000 kW per day.
