The tallest airport control tower is Tower West at Kuala Lumpur International Airport, Malaysia, which measures 133.8 m (438 ft 11.71 in) tall and was completed on 30 April 2013. The tower was built as part of the new KLIA2 terminal at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport, in order to accommodate an increased amount of air traffic.
