Between 2000 and 2020, Eminem (USA, b. Marshall Mathers III) topped the UK’s Official Albums Chart with 10 releases: The Marshall Mathers LP (2000); The Eminem Show (2002); Encore (2004); Curtain Call - The Hits (2005); Relapse (2009); Recovery (2010); The Marshall Mathers LP 2 (2013); Revival (2017); Kamikaze (2018); and Music to Be Murdered By (2020). The Missouri-born rapper’s 10 chart-toppers were released consecutively and spent a cumulative 30 weeks at No.1 in the UK.
The Beatles (15), Elvis Presley (13), Robbie Williams (13), Madonna (12), Bruce Springsteen (12), David Bowie (11) and The Rolling Stones (11) had more UK No.1 albums than Eminem, as of 30 June 2022. U2, Michael Jackson, Rod Stewart, Queen and ABBA had all tallied the same number as “Slim Shady” – 10.
