Maritime pioneer Chang Yun Chung, also known as Teo Woon Tiong, started his shipping career in Singapore in 1949 and co-founded Pacific International Lines in 1967 as a coastal operator with two second-hand ships, turning it into one of the largest shipping companies in South East Asia, with a current fleet (as of June 2018) of 160 vessels.
