The most skips over a rope in one hour by an individual is 14,657, and was achieved by Jordan Coen (Canada) in Grimshaw, Alberta, Canada, on 19 February 2022.

Jordan was inspired by Peter "The Rope Master" Nestler to start skipping. He explains "[Peter] did a rope skipping demonstration at our school when I was seven, and I was hooked! I have watched videos of him setting various rope skipping records. This record title stood out as something I could aspire to and achieve. I have also been a competitive rope skipper for ten years, and hold several provincial and national records for speed, power, and endurance as an athlete with Rope Skipping Canada."
