The most prolific console-based gaming news service is Toro Station (formerly Mainichi Issho), produced by Sony Computer Entertainment Japan and featuring a total of 1,591 episodes on the PlayStation 3 and PSP (PlayStation Portable) consoles between 11 November 2006 and 15 May 2011.
The news service was hosted within a piece of software that was updated regularly (daily for its first three years, weekly thereafter) and featured the two PLAYSTATION mascot cats, Toro and Kuro.
