The most points scored by a WNBA player in a playoff game is 42, and was first achieved by Angel McCoughtry while playing for the Atlanta Dream in a 105–93 victory over the New York Liberty on 7 September 2010. This record was equalled by Breanna Stewart while playing for the Seattle Storm in a 97–92 loss to the Las Vegas Aces in Game 4 of the WNBA Semifinals on 6 September 2022, and most recently by Napheesa Collier (all USA) while playing for the Minnesota Lynx in a 101-88 victory over the Phoenix Mercury on 25 September 2024.
Collier also set the record for most points scored in a single WNBA postseason (285 points, as of 2024).
